It’s 2015 and the world was using rubber bands to secure slings, a quick mishap with a rubber failing under NODs and the SRC-1 came to reality 
This re-release has the upgrades of the later gens but in the smaller package. We dropped this again to accomodate sub-guns and shorties where rail space is tight. 
This size is ideal and perfect for smaller platforms allowing you to maximize real estate
